Made of felted wool (processed from recycled sweaters), this is a variation on a penny rug. I used multiple squares instead of circles. Sixteen “diamonds in the square” are embellished with numerous wool stitches and topped with vintage vegetable ivory buttons, no two alike. About 12” x 12”.
