This make-do pincushion is made from felted wool which I make by repeatedly washing old sweaters in hot soapy water. This turns the wool into a thick wool felt. The make-do has four hearts stitched onto the top, it is firmly stuffed with wool, and it is securely attached atop a glass candlestick base.
