Annie Hall ... probably my all-time favorite movie. Here is the bittersweet ending.
The beautiful, organic eggs I was able to buy today from a neighbor who keeps chickens. Lucky me.

Crush the cardamom seeds ...
Add them to the sponge ...
Knead the dough ...
Voila!
Happy Day to you all.
I'm on a destash binge, selling bundles of wool at my Etsy vintage shop, wickedwaifVINTAGE. Come on over and take a look!

It started like this and was handed over to me by the person who made it. It was quite beautiful but she no longer loved it. My assignment was to alter it in some way and she gave me permission to do anything I wanted.
I played with paint, and glitter, and charms of all sorts ... very messy and fun.
I actually wanted to make it all white and glittery, with palest washes of icy, arctic blue. I think we all know by now that I am apparently incapable of staying within a white palette ... color always breaks through.

Now it has been handed over to yet another creative person and we'll see what she's done with it at the end of another week.
I make progress, slowly. I tend to spend a lot of time just gazing at the stitches, in a reverie not conducive to productivity. It's a meditation ... no thoughts, just being there with the fibers.
Visit Jack Kerouac on Meditation HERE. Or you could just be a cat. I'm sure cats like to meditate.
Yo - Jack Kerouac - I am a very hep cat.
It was Red Tag Day at Goodwill, meaning 50% off anything with a red tag. I was looking for metal that could be used to embellish jewelry and I found this brass basket, for $1.50. The pretty white pitcher is not from Goodwill - it was a gift from a dear friend. I just popped the metal pieces in there to keep them away from the cats. Then I decided I liked the look - a bouquet of weird metal. :-)
I wonder how many months (years?) will pass before I actually use it. I'm a procrastinator, you know.
